Author Guidelines
– Articles selected for publication in the *Scientific Journal of Saigon University* must present original research, academic reports, or new scientific findings by authors in Vietnam and abroad; possess scientific and practical value; have not been previously published elsewhere; and be written in either Vietnamese or English.
– Manuscripts must not exceed 12 A4 pages (approximately 4,000–5,000 words), prepared in Word using Unicode encoding, Times New Roman font, size 13; margins: top 25 mm, bottom 20 mm, left 30 mm, right 20 mm; line spacing 1.5 lines; mathematical expressions should be created using MathType or MS Equation.
– Basic formatting and submission guidelines can be referenced on the website: sj.sgu.edu.vn.
– Each submission must include two files: Word and PDF.
– The structure of the manuscript is specified as follows:
(1) Title: in Vietnamese and English;
(2) Author(s): full name(s), academic title and degree, affiliation, email address, and phone number of the corresponding author. For multiple authors, numerical superscripts should be assigned;
Example: Nguyễn Văn A1, Nguyễn Văn B2, Lê Thị C3, etc.
(3) Abstract: in Vietnamese and English (no more than 150 words);
(4) Keywords: in Vietnamese and English, 3 to 5 words/phrases.
(5) Main content: must include the following sections—Introduction (Statement of the Problem/Background/Overview/Rationale, etc.), Content (with subsections), and Conclusion.
(6) Notes should be placed at the end of the manuscript, above the References section, and numbered consecutively (the Insert Footnote function should not be used).
(7) Citations and References must follow IEEE style (for Natural Sciences) or APA style (for Social Sciences and Education).
(8) Illustrations (figures, photographs, diagrams, charts, etc.) must be clear. To ensure the highest image quality for publication, authors are requested to submit illustrations that meet the following requirements:
* 300 dpi or higher, adjustable to fit the journal’s layout;
* File formats: vector files (EPS, PDF, AI, etc.) or image files (PNG, JPG, BMP, etc.);
* All image files must be submitted together with the full manuscript.
Note: Foreign-language references and authors’ names cited in the manuscript should not be transliterated or translated. For manuscripts derived from research projects, the source (project title and code) must be clearly indicated. The Editorial Board only accepts manuscripts that comply with the required formatting and accompanying procedures.
