Abstract

This article discusses the use of the 5E teaching model to address specific content within the "Momentum" topic in Physics 10, with the aim of enhancing students' problem-solving and creativity competencies. It provides a theoretical overview of the 5E teaching model, including its concept and structure, and examines how the model can be applied to foster student competency. Additionally, the article explores the concepts and structure of problem-solving and creativity competencies. The paper also details the instructional design for the "Law of Conservation of Momentum" using the 5E model to develop students' problem-solving and creativity skills. The results of the experimental design demonstrate that employing the 5E teaching model for certain content in the "Momentum" topic effectively promotes students' problem-solving abilities and creativity
