Management measures for teaching activities oriented towards smart education in Ho Chi Minh City high schools

Abstract

This paper proposes a system of management measures to enhance the effectiveness of organizing teaching activities oriented towards smart education in high schools in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. Based on an analysis of the current situation and requirements of teaching model oriented towards smart education, five groups of management measures are identified: (1) Raising awareness about smart education among school managers, teachers, and stakeholders; (2) Strategic and systematic planning for implementing smart-oriented teaching; (3) Organizing essential conditions in infrastructure, learning resources, and human resources for smart teaching; (4) Instructional leadership and support for teachers during the innovation process; (5) Monitoring and evaluation using modern criteria and tools to ensure continuous feedback and improvement. These measures provide school leaders with a practical framework to effectively adopt the smart education model, thereby supporting the implementation of the new national curriculum and meeting the demands of educational renovation in the Industry 4.0 context.
